We Do the Research, You Do the Rest

We Do the Research, You Do the Rest

Two speech-language pathologists walk into a podcast. There’s no punchline, but for some reason we’re still laughing.

Emily and Eva embark on reading the research so you don’t have to. If you’ve ever squinted at a pillbox, questioned your own functional goals, or wondered how to sneak more clinical education into your life without actually reading a journal article… we got ya!

New episodes every other week-ish. Probably while you’re eating lunch in your car.

Eva:
[0:00] Emily, I almost had another cry at work moment this week.

Emily:
[0:09] Meal tray and everything?

Eva:
[0:10] Yeah, everything. And I got everything there in the patient's room. I sat down to feed her, do our session, and all of a sudden, all I got was, I don't want this, and she threw the tray, and it got me thinking, inner calm, what is the clinical lesson to be learned here?

Emily:
[0:29] Well, I mean, obviously, how agitation affects treatment approaches and outcomes.

Eva:
